End of the Day

I’m at the end of my beach pictures, at least for now. I like the way the waves turned out in this one.

I still have a lot of pictures to catch up on from previous trips. I can never seem to keep up and I also don’t get much of a chance to go out and take pictures during the normal week. So most of the time I’m just taking pictures when I’m travelling.

As I think about what I want to write about more, I’m going to try and think more about what I want to take pictures of. It’s easy to keep your eyes open and look for photo opportunities when everything you are seeing is new, it’s a lot harder (for me at least) to take photos of things I see everyday.

Standing Tall

I enjoy taking photos like this. They take a different perspective on the world around us and focus on what we don’t always see.

Photos that just capture part of the whole also stimulate your imagination. Your mind tries to complete the picture.

I like to look at this photo and think that the bird was really tall and I could only get its legs in the frame.
