Fountains

Every time there’s a fireworks display I always think to myself, “I don’t want to go to this. You see one fireworks display, you’ve seen them all.”

But I always enjoy them whenever I go.

Sitting out in the dark with friends and family, with someone you love next to you. The different color lights flash down on you. And you flinch a little bit at each explosion, squeezing the hand in yours.

The colors and patterns, pops and whistles create their own orchestra in the dark night sky.

The cold night air and damp, dewy grass stand in stark contrast to the fiery, controlled chaos spread out above you.

Even if they are the same, why would I want to miss out on this experience?

This photo is of some fireworks going off of the barge during the WEBN fireworks on Labor Day weekend.
